Youth Group

Things are really moving these days, and sometimes I forget to update you guys! For the past couple months, Edmy has been building up a youth group that meets Saturday mornings. She recently received a discipleship class through her local church, and she loved it so much she wanted to teach it to the young people in her community! Their group name translates to “Army of Christ”, and they’ve been learning a lot about turning away from what the world offers them and following Christ instead, as well as healing and forgiveness. And every now and then, they invite their friends and all go out for a morning playing soccer together!

I love seeing the group grow and fill up with young people who desperately need to feel Gods love and direction in their lives. In this community particulary, ages 12-15 are the riskiest ages for gang recruitment, school dropout and early pregnancy for girls - so what a perfect demographic to grab onto and share Christ with! Keep this growing group in your prayers!
