Intervening at the Critical Moment

Did you know that by high school age, two-thirds of Honduran students are no longer enrolled in school? (Read more about it here)

Some fall behind academically and give up. Others are forced to work to support their families. In communities like Los Pinos, the risks are even greater—ages 13–17 are the most vulnerable for gang recruitment. So many young people have their potential cut short.

That’s why this year, we’ve intentionally invested in our 7th–9th grade students— providing homework help, school supplies, WiFi access, and consistent mentorship. Doing our best to change the statistic and help our students reach their full potential!
