Fighting Hunger, Fueling Futures

It’s no surprise that hunger has a direct impact on a student’s ability to learn.

A growling stomach makes it nearly impossible to focus—especially in Honduras, where simply getting to school can mean a long walk under the hot sun.

For many families facing food insecurity, the situation is even harder. Some children stay home altogether due to the shame of not having food to bring.

This level of hunger is difficult to witness—so we’re doing something about it.

Through our expanded lunch program, we now serve over 300 healthy meals each week across all of our tutoring and high school programs.

Because when students are nourished, they are stronger, more focused, and better equipped to pursue their goals.
