School Check-Ins

As we roll back into doing the rounds of home visits with our sponsored students (which is no easy feat when there are 250 of them!), first we check in with all the teachers in the local public schools. They’ve been an essential ally helping us to identify students in need, while also recognizing when kids are falling behind and need extra support. The teachers don’t always have the ability to intervene or work closely with families who are struggling, but they know that’s what we love to do! We love building relationships with these public schools and their very hard working teachers, as we all work towards a common goal of supporting these special students!
